For All Your Facilities Management Needs

What is PPM?

PPMs, also known as planned preventative maintenance, are a crucial practice in the facilities management sector. It encompasses a range of maintenance activities specifically designed to prevent any potential issues and ensure the smooth operation of your business and assets.

The purpose of PPMs is to proactively address any maintenance requirements before they turn into major problems or unscheduled breakdowns. By implementing a regular service schedule, carried out by experienced engineers, PPMs aim to keep everything in optimal working condition. Key aspects of PPMs include:

Service Visits: PPMs involve timely and regular visits by qualified engineers or maintenance personnel. These visits focus on inspecting, repairing, and replacing components as necessary. By adhering to a planned schedule, potential problems can be detected early on and resolved promptly.

Preventing Breakdowns: Through PPMs, businesses can minimise unexpected failures of critical systems or equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency. By regularly checking and maintaining the equipment, potential issues can be identified and addressed before they escalate into costly breakdowns.

Comprehensive Maintenance: PPMs encompass a number of maintenance tasks, including, calibration, testing, cleaning, and adjusting. These proactive measures help extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of sudden malfunctions. By conducting comprehensive maintenance, PPMs promote reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Planned property maintenance is a strategic approach that ensures the smooth operation of facilities by implementing preventative maintenance measures. It not only helps in avoiding unexpected breakdowns and reducing downtime but also improves equipment lifespan and overall efficiency.

How quickly can I expect an engineer?

Our 24 hour helpline enables us to be contactable at all times and ensures that all calls are taken swiftly. This helps us to react to callouts and dispatch the appropriate engineer(s) as soon as possible.

We would normally allow 4 hours to respond to an emergency call however measures have been put in place in order to decrease the average time between the first phonecall to arrival on site.

Our reaction times will obviously be dependent on locality.
