Our client, CBRE, had previously experienced issues with spillages formulating from ductwork and spreading across the plant room floor. To avoid repeat occurrences, we constructed a fully tanked and waterproof bund wall. This consisted of preparing a composite bed to the surface area, supplying and laying blockwork to the composite bed, allowing time for the composite to fully dry. We then returned to site and applied waterproof tanking inside of the blockwork to absorb any future liquid outpours.
