In August 2016 and after a long tender process, Integrity Facilities Management were chosen by one of our NHS clients in Birmingham to carry out a whole re-decking of their communal area.

Our Client had a challenging situation in that they had timber decking installed on a flat roof adjacent to tree growth, causing a slip hazard.  As the decking was showing signs of decay, Integrity suggested installing a low maintenance composite decking system. This system was not only beneficial from a Life Cycle Costing benefit (as requires no subsequent treatment and is a durable material) but it also greatly reduces the risk of people slipping on it when wet.

Further, the Client was pleased to discover it is manufactured in several colour options to ensure it fits in with its surroundings. The staff at the building can now enjoy some outdoor space, allowing them to unwind during and after their hectic days at work.
