To ensure compliance following a fire risk assessment, an opening to an external cladded wall on the roof area in Ansty was required for implementation. Using specialist cutting equipment, a section was cut out of the cladding on both sides as well as the core of the wall. A frame was specially constructed out of replacement cladding and steps were built to allow free and easy access from one area of the roof to another.
