Integrity Facilities Management were engaged by The Fort Shopping Centre to break out, uplift and replace a large section of drainage channels to their main carpark. These works involved…

• Straddle cutting each side of the channels
• Breaking out the tarmac and concrete substrate
• Removal of defective run of channels.

Once all waste and debris were disposed of, we supplied and installed heavy-duty channels which have the capability to cope with extremely heavy vehicle loads. Included in the run was a channel sump unit, which had to be removed and replaced, ensuring alignment with the low-level drain. Once the channels were installed to the appropriate levels, we backfilled each side with high-strength concrete and applied a neat finish to complete the work.
