Vital Maintenance Work in Sterile Room Environment

Integrity engineers recently carried out vital maintenance work in a Sterile Room at one of our client’s medical sites in Birmingham. Our engineers proving that they can work to their usual high standards despite working in a highly pressurised environment.

In order to comply with the regulations, new specialist tools were purchased in order for us to carry out works. Our operatives wore special clean – room clothing in order to protect the products in the surrounding work area. The specially designed clothing provided head-to-toe cover with minimal chance of warm air aspirates reaching the room or products ensuring that the products stored in the area would not be contaminated.

Having dawned his protective equipment, our engineer set about completing the vital maintenance work. Integrity meticulously sealed open joints which were detrimental to the products stored in the vicinity to the openings. Using a specialist high grade sanitary silicone.

Lastly, we made vital repairs to the equipment within the clean room. The Engineers carefully removed the defective screw end caps and ensuring of their safe disposal before installing new high grade caps which meet the requirements of the room.
